The former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale is among Kenyans celebrating the KCPE results that were announced yesterday.
He took to his Twitter account sharing what his daughter had scored in this year’s KCPE exams.
“My dota has just made us proud by her success at the #KCPE2018. My wives en I owe it to prayers & the teachers of Malinya Pr School. Congratulations my Oliviorii,” he posted.
His daughter, Olivia Sabayi Khalwale scored a total of 359 marks. She had 75(A-) in English, 74(B+) in Kiswahili, 75(A-) in Maths, 71(B+) in Science and 64(B-) in Social Studies.
Surprisingly, Khalwale’s daughter schooled in a public school, Malinya Primary School. Unlike the “bullfighter,” other top politicians take their children to high-end schools in Kenya while others take them to top school abroad.
Announcing the overall results on Monday at the Star of the Sea Primary School in Mombasa, Education CS Amina Mohamed noted that there was an improvement in students’ performance from last year’s performance.
The top student scored a total of 453 marks.
“We had two top candidates who scored 453 marks out of the maximum 500,” said CS Amina Mohammed. #hivisasaoriginal
